Wave Curtains in Dubai

Best price in UAE - free quote at your home

Wave curtains (also called S-fold or ripple-fold) are the heading style you see in five-star suites and designer show apartments. Instead of gathered pleats at the top, the fabric falls in smooth, uniform S-shaped folds that look identical whether the curtain is open, closed or anywhere in between.

Wave is a track-and-tape system rather than a fabric — which means you can have it in soft sheers, full blackout, or both layered together. We tailor the fullness to your exact fabric and window so the ripples stay crisp and even.

Why wave is the look everyone photographs

Windows are the biggest visual surface in most UAE rooms after the floor — and wave treats them that way. A run of wave curtains reads as a single sculpted object: uniform vertical ripples from ceiling to floor, with none of the bunching or uneven gathers you get from pleated headings. It's the most finished, most photographed way to dress a window.

The engineering detail that matters: the fold depth is set by the track and the fullness of fabric, not by ironing or training. Heavier fabrics like blackout need more fullness and a reinforced track, or the waves collapse into random folds. We cut the fullness for the exact fabric and window you choose — that's the difference between wave done properly and wave done approximately.

Wave suits everything from a single sheer on a living-room slider to a full day-and-night set layering sheer in front of blackout on a double track. If motorization is on your wish-list, wave is the ideal partner — the even glide and single track make automated opening look effortless.

Wave Curtains - common questions

What's the difference between wave and pleated curtains?

Wave (S-fold) curtains hang in smooth, continuous ripples held by a special track and glider tape. Pleated curtains are gathered into fixed pleats at the top. Wave looks more modern and uniform and glides more easily; pleats give a more classic, structured look.

Can wave curtains be blackout?

Yes. Wave is a heading style, not a fabric — you can have it in sheer, dimout or full blackout, or layer a sheer and a blackout together on a double wave track for day-and-night control.

Will the folds flatten over time?

No — the wave pattern is created by the glider spacing on the track, not by ironing or training, so the folds re-form identically every time the curtain moves.

Are wave curtains suitable for curved or very wide windows?

Yes — gently curved bays can be tracked with bendable wave rail, and wide spans run on a single continuous track. We'll assess your windows at the free home visit.
