Wooden Blinds in Dubai

Best price in UAE - free quote at your home

Wooden blinds bring something fabric can't: grain, warmth and architecture. Horizontal timber slats tilt to any angle — full view, striped sunlight or closed privacy — and lift away entirely when you want bare glass.

In a region of smooth plaster and stone floors, a run of wooden slats adds instant material richness. They suit studies, majlis, villas and any room leaning classic, Scandinavian or colonial.

  • Real-wood and faux-wood (humidity-proof) options
  • Tilt control: view, filtered stripes or full privacy
  • Rich stains and painted finishes
  • Cloth-tape ladder option for a tailored look
  • Excellent glare control for desks and TVs
  • Wipe-clean, long-lived and timeless

Choosing wood that lives happily in the Gulf

Real timber is beautiful but opinionated: in high humidity (bathrooms, kitchens, beach-facing rooms with doors often open) it can slowly bow. That's why we offer both genuine basswood blinds and premium faux-wood — a PVC-composite slat with convincing grain that shrugs off moisture completely. Same look, right material for each room.

The 50mm slat has become the UAE favourite for good reason: fewer, wider slats mean a clearer view when tilted open and a bolder, more architectural line on the window. For small panes, 35mm keeps the proportions right.

Ask about cloth tapes at your visit — the woven ladders that replace cords down the face of the blind. They hide the drill-holes, add a strip of contrast colour and take the whole blind up a level.

Wooden Blinds - common questions

Real wood or faux wood — which should I pick?

Living rooms, studies and bedrooms: real wood for the lighter weight and natural grain. Kitchens, bathrooms and humid coastal rooms: faux-wood, which cannot warp. We bring slat samples of both.

Do wooden blinds block the sun's heat?

Tilted closed, the slats block direct sunlight well and cut heat gain noticeably, though not to blackout-curtain levels. They excel at adjustable glare control.

Are they heavy to operate on big windows?

Wide timber blinds have real weight, so for large spans we recommend faux-wood in split sections or a motorized tilt — we'll advise per window at measurement.
